Went shopping yesterday and found that I didn’t fit in the usual size 10’s and had to move up to size 12s. Now, since I’ve been working hard to stay trim, moving up a size was not what I expected or wanted. I also haven’t lost a kilo since I started this blog (not that kilo loss is really what I’m aiming for, but it is a little surprising…)
Add on top of that, my mum giving me flack for wanting to eat more vegetables at dinner and I’m not in the greatest head space about my body right now.
Overall, I feel like in some little ways, my mum is (UNINTENTIONALLY) sabotaging my efforts by making junk food for dinner, comments about how being a size 12 is ok and being just generally a bit down on my efforts. May I just say that she does come running with me and is a very good supporter with my exercise, but it seems that changing my diet and eating habits is not ok.
Anyway, just wanted to share a few struggles. Off for a run tonight and will definitely be banging out a full tough mudder circuit tonight =)
Yesterday was a 3.6km run & a tough
Mudder weights session.
Legs were a bit sore from konga the day before, but otherwise, pretty good :)
Bike ride and weights session today, and then podiatrist tomorrow!
Just had a beef and haloumi salad with lots of veggies and good things. I’m stuffed, but my brain wants dessert and I’m a little sad that I can’t fit any. Weird.
Gunna go home and drink a herbal tea or something…
Monday mum and I ran the whole 3.5 km route. Which was awesome!
Yesterday was 2 hours of konga. But my heart wasnt in the second class… Just couldn’t find the motivation…
I’ve also come to the realization that I haven’t actually lost any weight. All this time and nothing.
Massive more effort, especially with the weights and;
Eating habit overhaul. Starting today, I will be keeping a food journal.
Sitting on the bus feeling shitty and needing a detox fast!!!
Yesterday turned into a rest day, due to my lunch being extremely lack luster and I was starving when I got home… I guess that’s what happens when you have a free lunch… Today consisted of two circuits on the tough muddier boot camp… Should have done more, but I’m out of time. More tomorrow morning.
